Ground chicken- 1 pound or approximately 1/2 kg
Breadcrumbs- 1 cup
Onion- 1 medium
Ginger- 1 inch piece, peeled
Garlic- 4-5 cloves
Long peppers- 1-2 depending on how spicy they are, roasted on open fire, seeds removed
Coriander- 1 small bunch, leaves only
Mint- 1 small bunch but about half of the coriander
Garam masala (@How to Make Garam Masala
) or kebab masala (@Page on Blogspot
) 1 teaspoon
Oil or butter- 1-2 tablespoons
Raw papaya or papaya powder (optional), 1-2 teaspoons fresh, or a few few shakes, powdered.
Salt- To taste
Grind together everything except ground chicken. Blend chicken with the mixture and shape into burgers. Avoid handling too much or they'll get tough. Grease an aluminum foil sheet. Arrange burgers and bake at 550 degrees F for about 8-10 minutes on either side. Finish with a minute under broil or till slightly browned.
